Beach 3/27/08
Got back from the beach this morning...we had a crazy stay, but somehow we managed to stay out of trouble. Hope everyone's break is going good.

Stick Man(3/19/08)
Stick man one and stick man two were in brutal combat. Fists were flying, bullets were being rapidly fired, swords were being swung! That's right...it was a fist, sword, gun fight. These stick men are hard core.
It all started when stick man one took stick man two's stick girlfriend out to lunch one day. Though it was innocent to stick man one and stick man two's girlfriend, it was not innocent to stick man two. When he passed stick McDonald's and saw them in there chowing down on some huge, grease drenched double stick cheeseburger's, he flipped. He ran in stick McDonald's, completely knocking over the stick man Ronald, and began shouting at stick man one and his stick grilfriend. "What is this?" stick man one angrily screamed, but before she could even get and explanation out, stick man one cut off his stick girlfriend. "No, I don't even want to hear it," he exclaimed. He then turned to stick man one with a look of contempt on his face. "The stick shipyard...be there at 1:00 tomorrow," he said, and without even waiting for an answer, he quickly turned and walked briskly out.
It was 12:58, the sun was high in the sky and beating down on stick man two's stick back. Sweat beaded on his forehead. Adrenaline coursed through his body as he anticipated the arrival of stick man one. He scanned the horizon for any sign of life, squinting his eyes against the harsh sun. He finally saw what he had been waiting for: The slim figure of stick man one slowly approaching. Now stick man two's adrenal gland was really pumping. His palms began to sweat, his legs began to shake, and his vision became blurred. All he could think about was stick man one gleefully sharing stick bugers with his girlfriend.
For no apparrent reason, stick man two suddenly snapped back to reality, as if by some sort of "spidey sense", and it was a good thing, because all at once...

Homework 3/3/08
1. Evelyn becomes a "strong" woman, the source of her strength being the character Idgie.
2. The outer story is the story of Evelyn, Ed, their life, and their development as husband and wife. The main characters were Evelyn, Ed, and Ninny.
3. The inner story is the story of Idgie, Ruth, George, and Smokey, their relationship development and their maturation. The main characters were Idgie, Ruth, George, and Smokey.
4. It's ironic because the detective ate the evidence he was looking for.
5. My favorite vignette is where Idgie and the sheriff keep the KKK from killing George, cause I like George. He likes white people.
